The phone-mouse

Anyone know if this already exists? An app or phone that can double as a mouse? An embedded mouse wheel at the top would be awesome.

Katie and I were just talking about how sucky it is that Apple's mouse has the charging port on the bottom so you can't even charge and use it at the same time. We deserve something better anno 2022. #technology #mouse #phone

Transfer board

PEMT—- portable Enhancing Mobility Device. This device would be made of a sturdy material, such as wood, or some kind of foam board, to make it easier & less cumbersome for individuals that have a harder time moving from place to place, example—- a wheelchair to a bed, bed to a toilet, or any other place. What do y’all think? Let me know!

Great idea Ellie! So.. are we talking like something with suction strength, or a grip? Or perhaps just heavy so it can give stability on the floor? What specific movement are you most interested in designing this for? #accessibility

AI Plotter Printers

As the new Lab Monitor at HAWAC this year, I wonder if someday in the future there can be AI printers/plotters (24" Z3200s in 301 and 401 of HAWAC and 44" plotter in 401) that order ink when it runs low (like the Konica Minolta), fixes it's own errors and aligns the paper for you after you put it in if it's not aligned correctly the first time you place it in. It would be cool to have it talk to you like a Siri that answers questions about the machine and with an option to turn off this feature of voice.

@John Ashworth could be part of a senior proposal is what she said.

Just got a 3-D printer I wonder what I could do with it that hasn't been done before. Any cool ideas? Perhaps I could print parts for masks.

Yeah, we have 3 printers for students to use as well, so we could get a fair amount of things printed with a solid idea!
